Modernism Week in Palm Springs, the world-renowned celebration of mid-century modern architecture, design, and culture is celebrating its 20th anniversary from February 13-23, 2025.
Palm Springs has been attracting artists, designers, and artisans for more than a century and was a hub of the American mid-century modern movement. Today, the architecture that helped define Palm Springs has been preserved for all to enjoy. During Modernism Week, many of these famous buildings are available for tours, including those by architectural legends such as Albert Frey, Frank Loydd Wright, and E. Stewart Williams.
This year, Parker Palm Springs is proud to sponsor special Twilight Tours of two iconic landmarks: the stunning Frey House II, a tour hosted by Palm Springs Art Museum, and House of Tomorrow, the famous Elvis honeymoon hide-away. The tours start at 4:30pm during Modernism Week and a bubbly reception is included. Availability is limited so please book early.
Other popular activities during Modernism Week include Palm Springs bus tours, films and presentations, cocktail and jazz parties, and the not-to-be-missed 20th Anniversary Opening Night Extravaganza.
