Parker Palm Springs is pleased to welcome Chef de Cuisine, Keith Miller to our team. Keith brings years of Michelin Star fine-dining experience to our property. Executive Chef Pedro Baroso says he could not be more pleased. “When people come to Parker Palm Springs, they expect the best and Chef Miller is one of the best,” he says.
Beginning his career in Chicago, Keith made a name for himself at Alinea, before moving to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and Fiola, two titans on the Washington, DC dining scene. Most recently he was a key member of Atelier Crenn, a Michelin-starred restaurant in San Francisco.
Keith says he loves the energy and vibrancy of restaurants and was a foodie from an early age. “I fell in love with the creativity and artistic process of cuisine.”
As Chef de Cuisine for Parker Palm Springs, Keith will focus specifically on Counter Reformation and mister parker’s and is excited by the opportunity. “The quality of local cuisine here offers endless possibilities,” he says.
At Counter Reformation, Keith is looking forward to working with a rotating menu in an intimate atmosphere. “I want to ensure an elevated connection between guests and their food, and with their server and chef,” he says.
At mister parker’s, the legendary Palm Springs restaurant, Keith says he was captivated the moment he entered. “The room, the design, the artwork, the interiors by Jonathan Adler — it is seductive, and the food will be too. It is a one-of-a-kind space that delivers a one-of-a-kind dining experience.”
Parker Palm Springs sits on a large, oasis-like private property and Keith looks forward to extending the dining experience beyond the restaurants. “The surroundings are exceptional here, so we have the opportunity to create a moveable feast.”
